I’m a 40+ woman who has diabetes. I teach English (primarily composition and some literature) and Philosophy (fell into that one) at a community college in rural Arkansas. I live with my husband, my sister-in-law, five cats, and two guinea pigs. This blog is my place to ponder life, review books, and simply blabber on when I feel the need. I volunteer with our local animal rescue group; I belong to a book club at my local library. I occasionally make things with beads.
I’m a looney left wing liberal in a red state full of hunters. It’s always interesting.
